Augusta, Georgia was a happening place the first part of March! Branum’s Sewing and Vacuum Center, the area BERNINA Dealer, held their annual Southern Sewing School at a local facility. The students stitched up a creative embellished tote and an elegant embroidered pillow plus even some clever accessory pieces on the serger. I had the honor to teach the fun embellished tote using adaptations to the “Clarabella Tote” pattern by Abby Lane Quilts. Nina McVeigh taught the lovely pillow and Kaysie Oldani taught the serger accessories which were created by Nancy Bednar.
